Daylight saving time ends at 2 a.m. on November 3.

This year’s Daylight-Saving Time (DST) ends at 2 a.m. on November 3. Most provinces in Canada have joined in and will be setting the clock back one hour. There are mixed opinions about implementing daylight saving time, but British Columbia (BC) has already decided to abolish it in 2019. However, this is conditional on the US West Coast states also deciding to abolish it.

In the United States, even though the provincial government is moving towards abolishing daylight-saving time, it cannot be implemented unless approved by the federal government, so it seems unlikely that daylight saving time will be abolished in British Columbia anytime soon.

The next time daylight saving time will begin is on the second Sunday in March, in 2025, on March 9th.
